Asta Vini Winery

Cantina Asta Vini is born in Partinico area (PA), in the Bosco Falconeria district, on a hill that offers a breathtaking view of the Calatubo Castle and the beautiful Gulf of Castellammare, stretching from San Vito Lo Capo to Punta Raisi. Initially, vineyards, olive groves, orchards, and wheat fields predominated, but over the years, many changes have been made in terms of both size and cultivation. Today, the company covers an area of 14 hectares, with a significant portion of 11 hectares dedicated to vineyards.
In 2019, thanks to the efforts of Nino, the great-grandson of the founders, Asta began bottling a small portion of its Catarratto production, giving birth to the Majò label, a pure Catarratto. In 2020, the company’s production was enriched with a new label: Niros. The idea of bottling their products arose from the desire to restore the rightful value to these wonderful local products, which have been forgotten for too long. They embrace the philosophy of organic farming to respect the environment and promote the region. The ultimate goal is to close the supply chain for the cultivated products, showcasing the true expression of Sicilian character deeply rooted in the history of the region.
