Ferretti Winery
Cantina Ferretti is located in Case Cocconi, a fraction of Campegine on the border between the provinces of Parma and Reggio Emilia. This area has been a particularly fertile strip of plain since ancient times thanks to the presence of springs. The company covers an area of 7 hectares, of which 3 are planted with vineyards, while the rest are left with stable grass. Different varieties of Lambrusco are grown, including L. Salamino, L. Grasparossa, L. Maestri, L. Marani and older varieties such as L. Oliva, L. Barghi and L. Foglia Frastagliata, white berried grapes including Malvasia Aromatic from Candia, Malvasia Bianca, Pignoletto, Trebbiano Modenese and Moscato. Ancestral vinification and no invasive intervention in the cellar as in the vineyard.
