Christian Muller Winery
Christian Muller was one of the forerunners in the world of Champagne. Thanks to his innovative ideas and his union involvement, he was able to convince and defend the Champagne culture. The Christian Muller winery in Mailly-Champagne benefits from the High Environmental Value (HVE) certification, thus committing itself to respecting the ecosystem, and the Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne (VDC) certification, with the principle of minimizing the consequences of viticultural practices on the environment, ban on insecticides, soil analysis before interventions, grassing of the plots. Zero herbicides. Plots cultivated without the use of synthetic products. The vineyard covers over 15 hectares, distributed exclusively in the village of Mailly-Champagne Grand Cru, on the northern hill of the Montagne de Reims. The average age of the vines is 25 years spread over 70 plots: Pinot Nero present at 80% and Chardonnay present at 20%.
