Dei Agre Winery
Dei Agre is located in the heart of Salento, at the head of the winery is Marta Cesi, a young Apulian who after graduating in economics decided to retrace the path of her maternal grandparents. Passion, stubbornness, the involvement of industry experts and the desire to improve did the rest. Marta emphasizes the territory and the land. Patience, love and bizarre experimentation work for the improvement of the organic composition of the soil, because it is in the earth that the roots absorb the nutrients that the plant uses to feed its fruit. Only vines historically suited to the territory: Negroamaro and Primitivo, rigorously bred with Apulian sapling. Manual harvesting, spontaneous fermentation and long maceration on the skins. The first racking with the first cool temperatures of late autumn prepares the wine for a long rest until bottling.
