Gianni Lonetti Winery
At the heart of winemaking tradition, Gianni Lonetti returns to his roots with passion and dedication. After more than 15 years away from home, this former film and television technician has embraced a new adventure: viticulture.
Immersed in the study of vines, Gianni has cultivated the passion passed down to him by his father since he was young. Now, with the precious support and teachings of his family, he has taken the reins of the company inherited from his great-grandparents. On an 8-hectare estate, with less than 2 hectares dedicated to vines and some to olive trees, Gianni has decided to revive the family’s winemaking tradition.
His company, a small family-run business, stands out for its ethical and sustainable approach to land management. By limiting the use of machinery to one annual operation and favoring manual operations, Gianni preserves the biodiversity of his land. Even phytosanitary treatments are carried out manually, with the sparing use of ventilated sulfur and copper sulfate.
In the cellar, Gianni embraces tradition, avoiding the use of selected yeasts and clarification processes. With minimal amounts of sulfites, he creates wines that tell the story and passion of a family tied to the land.
