Gonella Winery
Cantina Gonella raises its 4.5 ha of vineyards in the Asti area, native vines such as Arneis, Barbera, Bonarda and Nebbiolo. In the vineyard only copper and sulfur, in the cellar only grapes and a little sulfur before bottling.
The practices are those of organic agriculture, trying to give back to the soil and plants what they give to us. “Direct” wines, recognizable in their being, clean and that speak for themselves. The lands where the vines grow are located on the ancient seabed of what was the Gulf of Asti a few million years ago. White and blue clays are mixed with sand and tuff.
