Migliosi Winery

Migliosi born in 2013 in Santa Maria degli Angeli, a plain area that lies at the foot of the last slopes of Mount Subasio. Surrounded by the imposing presence of the Sacred Convent of San Francesco and offering a spectacular view of the town of Assisi, the Migliosi family acquired an estate in the Ponte Rosso area, known for its prestigious vineyards and excellent exposure, closely linked to the production of Assisi’s local white and red wines.
Through careful requalification and selection efforts, the vineyards are now capable of producing high-quality blends that result in the prized wines typical of the Assisi region. To ensure the highest quality, grapes are handpicked, and the entire production has been converted to organic farming.
Last but not least, at the beginning of 2020, the family decided to acquire vineyards in Gualdo Cattaneo, within the Montefalco DOC area, the most prestigious wine-producing region in Umbria. This marked the start of the production of two new red wines: Rosso di Montefalco DOC (a blend) and Sagrantino di Montefalco DOCG (100% Sagrantino), ancient varietals that are impossible to find elsewhere in the rest of Italy.
