Podere Sassi Winery
Podere Sassi is a small biologic holding situated in the southern Sabina in the region of Lazio, at the border with Umbria. “Sassi family farm” have planted 3 hectares of local vines 300mt above sea level. Their wine is made without any added yeast or temperature control, no added sulphites or filtration of any kind. In this area of the Sabina, the Ciliegiolo grape is the king and it has its historically legitimate habitat, while the Sangiovese and Montepulciano give life to a structured red wine. The Lazio Malvasia and Trebbiano Giallo are the base of the white wine.
