Grenache Blanc is the white-berried variant of Grenache, cultivated in Southern France and Spain.
Characteristics
The wine has a straw-yellow color. On the nose, it features tropical fruit (mango, pineapple), white flowers, and chalky mineral notes. On the palate, it is structured and fresh, with vibrant acidity and a salty finish.
Pairings
Ideal with raw seafood, fish stews, and creamy cheeses like Boursault.
Curiosities
In Spain, it is often blended with Macabeo and Parellada for traditional Cava.
