Ca Foracaime – Waterfly Ancestral 2022

Ca Foracaime Winery born in Terra Alta region, specifically in Pinell de Brai, home of Catalonia’s oldest archaeological site related to winemaking, known as the “Cathedral of Wine.” Although wine production is deeply rooted in the family’s winemaking tradition, it wasn’t until 2019 that new vineyards were planted, leading to the introduction of their wines to the market. The philosophy behind Ca Foracaime is deeply natural, with minimal intervention during the winemaking process to capture the exclusive essence of the grapes and the land from which they originate. Similarly, the vineyards are meticulously tended in harmony with nature, allowing the vines maximum freedom to express their character. The wines contain no added sulfites, and their fermentation is exclusively driven by native natural yeasts. Mechanization is kept to a minimum, prioritizing artisanal craftsmanship.
