Sapiens is an orange wine produced by the La Via del Colle Winery, vinified with Trebbiano grapes, maceration on the skins for 15 days in amphora and aging in terracotta amphora for 6 months, no addition of sulfur.

Entirely organic farm in Romagna, in the municipality of Bertinoro. To date, there are 30 Ha with the most disparate crops and activities: fruit, oil, truffles, honey. 5 Ha are destined for the grapes that Francesco grows and vinifies by creating his wines. The vinification system takes place in an artisanal way through spontaneous fermentation, without temperature conditioning and without the use of yeasts or other enological activators. No sulphites are added during racking or pre-bottling The wines are always and only bottled when the vintage has been particularly generous, with healthy and perfectly ripe grapes so as to guarantee structure and longevity.
