Longarico Rosato is born from an idea that waited for the right moment. In 2018, Luigi Staleti thought of producing a new label from red grapes, but with the freshness and drinkability of a white. Unfortunately, that year it wasn’t possible, and the idea remained on hold. But in 2024 the courage returned, and thus this rosé was born: a wine that challenges the market, where rosés don’t always enjoy great success, but which is giving wonderful satisfaction to those willing to dare. Intense pink color that well represents the Sicilian territory, a balance between acidity and sapidity, a regenerating sip that wins you over at the first taste. Organically grown Sicilian red grapes, harvested between August 25th and 30th, fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature (20-25°C), aging for 7 months on the fine lees in stainless steel. Unfiltered, with a total sulfite content of just 15 mg/l. Only 2,400 bottles produced, for a rosé that combines Sicilian tradition with a contemporary freshness.
