Longarico Rosato is born from an idea that waited for the right moment. In 2018, Luigi Staleti thought of producing a new label from red grapes, but with the freshness and drinkability of a white. Unfortunately, that year it wasn’t possible, and the idea remained on hold. But in 2024 the courage returned, and thus this rosé was born: a wine that challenges the market, where rosés don’t always enjoy great success, but which is giving wonderful satisfaction to those willing to dare. Intense pink color that well represents the Sicilian territory, a balance between acidity and sapidity, a regenerating sip that wins you over at the first taste. Organically grown Sicilian red grapes, harvested between August 25th and 30th, fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature (20-25°C), aging for 7 months on the fine lees in stainless steel. Unfiltered, with a total sulfite content of just 15 mg/l. Only 2,400 bottles produced, for a rosé that combines Sicilian tradition with a contemporary freshness.

Recommended Pairings

Perfect as an aperitif wine, thanks to its freshness and balance. Ideal to accompany fresh cheeses, fish dishes such as sardines a beccafico, swordfish caponata, and raw seafood. A versatile rosé that lends itself to every moment of conviviality.

The Courage to Dare

In today’s collective imagination, rosés do not always enjoy great success. But Longarico Rosato proves that those who are willing to dare are rewarded. Born from an idea that waited six years before finding its realization, this wine is an act of courage and passion. The intense pink color that represents the Sicilian territory and the balance between acidity and sapidity make it a rosé that does not go unnoticed.

Why Choose It

Because it is a rosé with character, combining the freshness of a white with the structure of a red. Perfect for those looking for a different wine, one that dares and offers emotions. With only 2,400 bottles produced, it is also a small rarity to discover and share. A rosé that speaks of Sicily, of courage, and of satisfaction.
