Masiero Winery was born in 2000 on the woody, volcanic hills of Trissino. A natural amphitheatre, turned towards southeast, it welcomes vineyards at an altitude of around 400 m. Franco and Francesca Masiero cultivate three hectares planted with Merlot and black Pinot with a modern biodynamic method, choice originated from the will to respect nature, giving up any possible chemical intervention that may alter the peculiarity of the microclimate or destroy the life of the soil. In the cellar, the grapes are worked while keeping their soil identity, both variety-wise and season-wise, fermenting them spontaneously without selected yeasts in tubs of wood. In 2014 a recuperation project has started concerning old vines of Garganega, Pinot Grigio, Tai, Chardonnay, Merlot and Carbernet Franc at Sant’Urbando di Montecchio Maggiore.->Discover all the wines of Masiero Winery
