Nicola Gatta Winery
Nicola Gatta is a small Italian producer from the easternmost area of Franciacorta, with its 5.5 hectares of vineyards on the hills of Gussago, 400 meters above sea level. In the vineyard, it follows the principles of biodynamics, does not use herbicides and synthetic chemicals. In the cellar, only spontaneous fermentations with indigenous yeasts naturally present on the skins. In its production, any type of clarifying agent or stabilizer is banned. The sulfur dioxide present in the wine, moreover in very limited quantities, is only of natural origin and not added: the principle is to enhance a territory that is different by nature and origins, with the aim of obtaining wines that represent it without compromise.
