Weingut Prana Winery
Cosima and Niklas Eisenacher are the young and dynamic couple at the helm of Prana. With no long family tradition behind them, starting from the Geisenheim School, they built their adventure with courage, clear ideas, and a modern vision of winemaking. They believe wine is the expression of a place, a moment, and the people who create it. Every grape cluster is harvested by hand, and every wine is personally tended from the vine to the glass.
At Prana, the goal is not sterile perfection, but vibrancy and authenticity. The term “Prana,” meaning life energy, encapsulates their mission: to create living, genuine wines that tell the story of their terroir and manual work. An experience to be perceived, shared, and truly felt.
Natural winemaking is used to enhance the purity of the fruit. Spontaneous fermentations, no fining agents, unfiltered wines, and minimal sulfur use.
4.5 hectares of living and diverse vineyards in the celebrated Rheingau plots: Oestricher Lenchen, Hasensprung, St. Nikolaus, and Doosberg. These soils, considered true living organisms, give the wines structure, minerality, and a unique character. Cultivation is organic, with great attention paid to soil health and biodiversity, because only healthy vines can produce complex, energetic wines.
Beyond the classic Riesling, the region’s strength, the estate passionately cultivates Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir) and PIWI varieties (disease-resistant vines), chosen for an even more sustainable and resilient approach. A blend of tradition and responsible innovation.
The Wines Vibrant, sincere wines where the minerality of the Rheingau terroir merges with enviable freshness and drinkability. Rieslings full of character, elegant Pinot Noirs, and PIWI grape wines surprising in their complexity. “Naked” wines that hide nothing, ideal for those seeking authenticity and genuine emotion in the glass.
