Anatema is a red wine produced by Etnella Winery, belonging to the denomination Etna DOC. Meaning anathema in Italian, the name of this wine is a reference to the winemaker’s rejection of French oak for aging and the embracing of chestnut wood, traditional to Mount Etna. Vinified with local grapes of 85% Nerello Mascalese, 15% Nerello Cappuccio.
At nose scents of little red fruits, cherries,black currant leaves, giniestra and capers flower.
Taste with moderated tannins with fruity aroma, savoury, and good freshness.
