Vigna al Mare is a red produced by I Mandorli Winery with 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes it’s a blend of two different vinifications of grapes from the vineyard plot facing the sea: the grapes from the older vines and the younger vines are harvested separately, following the gradual ripening of the grapes. They then undergo separate spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in open vats of 10 quintals, with punch-downs and manual pump-overs. Subsequently, they are blended together and continue aging for 8 months in 16.5 hl barrels, another 8 months in concrete, and 12 months in the bottle.
