Marco Merly winery was founded in 2002, is located in Casa del Diavolo a small village near Perugia, in a slightly hilly and typically Umbrian landscape and entirely managed by Marco and his father. The grapes are exclusively processed by Marco in the cellar, where fermentations with indigenous yeasts are preferred and where the few technologies used are “outside and not inside the wine”. To do justice to what has been said the fruit must be as healthy as possible, which is why the rare fertilizations are carried out. The only treatments with copper and sulfur, besides trying to establish a “possible “Coexistence between weeds and vines, without resorting to chemical herbicides.
