Grouge is a bold idea born from the creative minds of Florence and Boris of Domaine Exeterra. A blend that brings together two seemingly distant worlds: Pinot Noir and Gewurztraminer. The two wines are vinified separately and blended one month before bottling. The result? A light, juicy and surprisingly delicious wine that challenges conventions and delivers a truly unique tasting experience. The Pinot Noir, fully destemmed, macerates for 10 days and ages for 8 months in stainless steel; the Gewurztraminer macerates for 8 days in whole clusters and also ages for 8 months in stainless steel. Only after this separate journey do the two wines meet, merge and complete their path together in bottle. Unfiltered and unfined, to preserve all the purity and complexity of this encounter.

Tasting Notes
- Appearance: Bright light ruby red with cherry-hued reflections, luminous and transparent.
- Nose: A surprising and complex aromatic profile. Notes of small red berries (wild strawberry, raspberry) from the Pinot Noir intertwine with the typical floral and spicy aromas of Gewurztraminer: rose petals, lychee, sweet spices and a delicate hint of ginger. A unique bouquet that continuously evolves in the glass.
- Palate: The entry is light and enveloping, with delicate, silky tannins. Freshness is vibrant and supports the sip with elegance, while the aromatic component of Gewurztraminer adds depth and persistence. The finish is clean and fruit-driven, with a juicy close that invites another glass. A wine of great drinkability and character.
Recommended Pairings
Perfect as an aperitif wine, thanks to its lightness and surprising personality. Ideal with white meats (chicken, turkey, guinea fowl), roasted poultry, and lightly structured red meats. Also excellent with soft cheeses and with ethnic dishes that combine sweet and spicy notes. A wine for those who love to experiment and be surprised.
Why Choose It
Because it is truly one of a kind. You will rarely find another wine like Grouge, capable of combining the structure of a red with the aromatic complexity of an aromatic white. It is for those seeking something different, for those who love surprises, and for anyone who wants to impress friends with a bottle that tells a story of experimentation and courage. A light, juicy and genuinely delicious wine, just the way we like it.
