Riesling Gelber Sandstein is a white wine from Cantina Scheuermann. This Riesling is a masterful exercise in balance, comparable in character to wines from Bunter Sandstein (multicolored sandstone). It is a finely chiselled wine, performing an “acrobatic act” between freshness and structure. On the nose and palate, shades of yellow-fleshed fruit dominate, with clear notes of apricot, peach, and summer yellow apple. On the palate it flows with charm, leaving a finish marked by delicate, vibrant, and juicy finesse. It represents a perfect example for exploring the typical contrasts of Palatinate Rieslings.
